Business Accounts is probably the best introductory accounting book in its class (for AS-level/BTEC/NVQ). It would provide a good foundation for students on higher level courses. It is well written and has a clear, user-friendly format. The extended and fully worked case studies are excellent. Worth buying even if it is not your recommended text. Amazon.co.uk

This book is the best I've found on accounting. It is written in a really easy to understand style, and has plenty of questions after each chapter.
